Pooh Corner Farm

BRANDING + LOGO DESIGN | Collateral Design | WEB DESIGN

Pooh Corner Farm is located on just under 100 acres outside of Bethel, Maine. Carole and Richard Duplessis started Pooh Corner Farm in 1984 with one greenhouse and a small store. Each year they continued to increase production by adding an additional greenhouse. In 1999 they expanded the retail store by about 1,000 square feet turning the business into a year-round garden center, florist and gift shop. In 2020, Carole and Richard’s daughter, Margaret returned bringing her passion for floristry, wedding design, and sourcing unique gift and home accent pieces for the gift shop.

Together we worked to preserve the essence of their 30 year old branding, while updating it to feel more modern and in-tune with Margaret’s style. Custom typography was created that mimicked the original typeface, as well as a custom Daffodil illustration to replace the old one. For the new branding we wanted the daffodil to feel like a secondary element that can occasionally take the spotlight. This makes a cleaner, and more versatile brand suite.
